lara249 can you ask the people with who you worked from where they got this mesh? We need just the actual meshes of the nudity then from there we will figured out how to place it as "costume" or something like that.
Heh don't get me wrong, I am no part of any group or something like that, but I can talk with some people who understand that... but to do that, I need the mesh file which is connect with the picture which is shown here... and from there its easy... anyone could do it... you need just to find the correct files to replace the model with 3D program (and there is a lot of them) safe, enter in game going to this particular costume which you've change and wear it (and voya there is nude Dante)
As for all the 3D stuff, I'm familiar with it. Even more than familiar, to be honest. IRL I'm 3D artist working in Maya for more than 5 years now (I'm actually game FX artist and not a modeller. But basic modeling, rigging and skinning are common skills). So everything related to the modification itself is not a big deal for me. The problem is all this "modding" stuff: extracting skinned 3D mesh from game, converting it to common file format (like FBX), attaching shaders and textures and then (after modification is done) sending it back to the game. Fot me, this is work for hacker/programmer but not for a 3D artist. I can create skinned mesh for nude Dante. Even several versions of it, for every taste.
All I need is source skinned mesh extracted from the game, with all the joints and skinning intact. And with all the texures (diffuse, specular, normal and any other map used in the game). And in FBX file format. If I get it, adding a penis to the mesh and modifying a texture to make it seamless with the rest of the body is not a problem at all.
Well now, all we have to find out now is where to get that mesh, which is really hard, because the game use more then one files and mesh textures, so you can't know for sure which one is exactly Dante, but the way you explained seems to me that any costume texture which is added into game, if we find that costume mesh and you change it and then bring it back with the new skin, will do the job right? Or I miss something...
